Based on insight and input from relevant innovators within our community, we make tactical recommendations to help partners meet those objectives and build action plans to take back to their organizations.

The Prescription-Patient Journey

SITUATION
A partner approached MATTER with a need to better understand the patient journey from initial diagnosis through medication pickup — including the many behind-the-scenes interactions that happen between the provider, payers and pharmacy.
HOW MATTER HELPED
MATTER convened providers, payers, pharmacists, patients and caregivers to collaboratively map the journey in all its nuance and complexity. The exercise revealed a number of opportunities for innovative technologies and better collaboration between stakeholders.
OUTCOME
The group created a 360-degree perspective of both the problem and potential solutions and will reconvene this year to ideate and evaluate best next steps towards solution development.
